Forget the Windows COMM-API limitations. Use the COMM-Enhancer and extend your Windows COMM-API based applications.
The possibilities offered by the Windows COMM driver for controlling the serial interfaces are not sufficient for many PC applications. The COMM-Enhancer extends your Windows COMM-API .
Up to 40 serial interfaces (COM1 to COM40) and up to 115200 bps can be operated in Windows directly through the Windows COMM-API. Applications already running do not have to be modified. The whole functionality is loaded dynamically when needed. The user does not have to restart the PC or Windows. The Software is just as easily removed (without any restart).
The COMM-Enhancer supports a multitude of serial boards with 4-, 8- or 16 ports and interrupt sharing. That is up to 32 additional ports using one interrupt request line.
The easy to use configuration program SetCOMM enables the user to add, change and remove ports under Windows.
